| I want to add arrowheads to a line. When I select the line and try to Effect> Stylize> Add Arrowheads or Filter> Stylize> Add Arrowheads, all is see is the greyed out text “Glowing Edges.”
I’m using Illustrator CS2 (part of Creative Suite 2) on Windows XP.
Thanks.

| Kristin:
Reset your AIPrefs file. See FAQ#2 in Illustrator FAQ at the top of the forum list. Post back. steve

| Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the reply. I just tried what you suggested and I'm still having the same problem. I did not understand your EDIT comment.
Any other suggestions?

| Kristin,
On second thought, Steve realized that you were probably looking at Stylize in the lower part of the drop down menu where the only option is Glowing Edges. Add Arrowheads, as are the other options, is found in the upper part Stylize.

| Oh man, I never even noticed that upper one for some reason. Yes, I can see the arrowheads options now....
Thanks Steve & Jacob!

| Kristin,
Oh man, I never even noticed that upper one for some reason.
Apart from your maybe being too quick, there is another valid reason: it is quite natural to think you have found it when you have found it; especially when you are not aware that there can be two options within the same dropdown menu.
Hi Steve. We actually had a Hi-Five from 1996 to 2005.
