Hi All

Sorry, I'm a new user, so please excuse this new user question. I'm trying to place text within a traced image - this is the kind of thing I am trying to do <http://www.hollywood-diecast.com/herbie%20JL.jpg>. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'
m having problems finding direction on the net purely because I don't know what words I'm looking for!

Thanks for reading this message.

Best wishes

Catherine

Catherine:

Put your shape (V-dub) on top of the text, select both, and Object> Envelope Distort> Make With Top Object. steve

In case the Envelope Distort route produces inaccurate or unexpected results (no matter if you choose the max. fidelity in the Envelope Options), please remember that these kinds of designs are often done manually by just using all kinds of path manipulat
ion tools that are available in the programme, rather than just click and get it.
