Colour Correction Help wanted

| i've been trying to figure out the colour settings in adobe software but never seem to get it right. Whenever I change a setting on for example, Photoshop and export artwork with that colour setting on Illustrator, The colors change. I tried all kinds of
settings but they never semm to be compatible! This also happens when I save artwork as bmp or jpeg.
So I was wondering if someone would have the answer to this and tell me what are the standard settings for europe pls!!
