| Hello Rodney,
I'd like to know if you found a working solution to this problem. I've been experiencing the same thing after installing Creative Suite this past week and trying to update everything. I want to see if I can save a phone call to Adobe :).

| Robert,
On my second call to Adobe they recommended uninstalling (in my case Production suite), then reinstalling the trial version (again in my case, Illustrator CS2), then uninstalling the trial version and reinstalling Production suite. It was a pain, but surp
risingly did finally overcome the problem. It seems that someone at Adobe could have pointed out the source of the problem and saved a lot of time and effort, but at least it is now working OK. Good luck.

| Hi guys,
Is anyone still having this problem? If so, can you email me the following file? Email it to shtracy@adobe.com
c:Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Updater\AdobeESDGlobalApps.XML

| Hi All
I am having the same problem. I have reinstalled and uninstalled the trial version several times, as well as, searched the hard drive for all traces of the tryout. I even deleted the registry entries. Then reinstalled the full version. The program runs ok
but I cannot update.
I have sent a copy of the .xml file, but have recieved not reply. Does anyone have a suggestion short of reformating the hard drive.
Thanks
John Griffin
