My first day with Illustrator CS2 .... intermediate in Photoshop.

I decided to try Illustrator in order to get better results resizing
low res bitmapped images including old wood block prints and also
stamped airplanes from old air mail envelopes. I hoped that the Live
Trace feature would automate this.

I appear to get very good results with Live Trace when previewing with
the mininum area set to 0 or 1 pixel. However when I click on expand it
turns into a huge blob. It seems like the path strokes width has no
relationship to the trace preview. Shouldn't it?

So my question is how to get the same results after the conversion to
paths as in the trace preview window?

Thanks a bunch,

Elliot
