| HELP! I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cussed up a blue streak and damn
near started breaking stuff! I am out of ideas. The problem is that
when I launch Adobe Illustrator (CS1) I get the startup image and see
the activity as it gets fonts, filters etc. but then it just stops -
usually at geometry aig - and the startup image stays but scrolling
over it turns the cursor into an hourglass and an activity such as
moving a window over top of the image does that whole annoying image
degradation as it acts like a mask, keeping part of whatever is dragged
across it. When I check my processes it tells me its running and using
upwards of 40% of my processing abilities. Has anyone ever seen this
before? FWIW Photoshop (CS1) works perfectly. I appreciate any
assistance.
