Author setting hyperlink

I am trying to set a hyperlink text in Illustrator CS2. I can't find how to
do this, I feel like such a fool. I am sure I am just not looking up the
correct term in help and on the news group. This is the first thing that I
have tried in Illustrator so I am sure I am just missing some simple
concept. The type of hyperlink I am trying to set is just some text, for
example making an email address within a sentence live. The intended output
of this is PDF. I assume this can be done in Illustrator. Any clues would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

as far as i know about illustrator, i haven't seen any feature to use
for your issue.

but not 100% sure, that if there is a way to have links when saving in
PDF format.

if thats the case, you should look in the saving options of PDF, or
look in the help for "Saving artwork in Adobe PDF".

hope this will solve ur matter.
