maven:

I just answered your question in the other thread.

Here it is again:

What you do, is go to the save dialog, and after naming the file, click "Save", and in the next window, at the top, drop down the list and pick "Illustrator 10".

Have you tried clicking on the Save button? Come back when that doesn't help.

Screenshots are cute, but following instructions is better:

What you do, is go to the save dialog, and after naming the file, click "Save", and in the next window, at the top, drop down the list and pick "Illustrator 10".

That's why I did a couple of screen shots - as you can see - I don't have the option to click on the "save" option - only the "save as".

Also, on the save window - those are the only options I have in the drop down list.

If I continue and choose save, then it only asks if I want to replace the existing file.

got it - thanks,!

But note, it won't give you that option if you are replacing an existing file - only if you re-name it.

olrite. I'm an idiot, I didn't allow it to go forward once it started asking me to replace the existing file.

Well, at least I made you smile! (or shake your head) lol

Thank you so much for your help...
