| Alrighteo,
Illustrator trial version ran great. No issues, no print problems, no save problems, nothing everything ran great BUT... The purchased and downloaded version (same version number) is really giving me problems. First I've installed and uninstalled the tria
l and CS2 (Real) using the Adobe manual uninstall procedures. I've rebooted and reinstalled and continue to have the same issues. I have followed every best practice to include Placing the image, linking the images, saving regularly, every 5 minutes and s
aving a copy. I still have the same issues. Cannot print or save as a .pdf. When I return to a file the file will not open, nor will the copies made at regular intervals throughout the work. I have a 2+GB CPU 1GB Ram, a fresh defragged drive. The file is
less then 2MB with less then 5000 paths. I continue to get "Operator Error isses "XI". I cannot flatten the work. I canot save as an EPS, a SVG or any other type of file extension. I get Memory preview errors which take me to a vector view. I can reduce t
he screen display however I need the higher display to do the close work I need to do. I can reselect the Preview view and go on about the work however after I save and close the file won't open. I have recreated files, I have copied protions of my work t
o new files only to have the same issues. I've probably read every piece of information relating to operator errors, the countless recommedations to delete the AIPrefs file (stupid task) and to no avail. Is there anyone else that is working having the sam
e issues with the latest CS2? Adobe Staff please respond to this. Do you have a bad build from the download site. I even went to the length of redownlading the trial version just to make sure I got a folder with the fonts...the only issues is I'm not usin
g any text in my work!!! My page size is well under any size issues and I've made two similar projects in the trial version without a hitch. I had to pay $500 to have the issues. Any other thoughts to rectify the issues that someone may have that make sen
se would be greatly appreciated.
