Looks more like Spirograph. Draw a simple shape, switch to the Rotation tool (shortcut: R) and Alt-click to set a rotation axis. In the dialogue that appears, enter your angle and click on Copy. Control+D to duplicate.

That's just the result of rotation. The lines are more densely packed there.
