Lost Myriad-Roman font in CS2

| Awhile back, Myriad-Roman suddenly went missing. No longer in my Fonts folder. Is there any way to install a single font from the installation disk? I sort of tried tonight and couldn't see a way to do it. I also looked everywhere online for a place to pu
rchase the font, and couldn't find a source -- not on Adobe, not on fonts.com, etc. Myriad Pro seems to be widely available, but no Roman.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

| Which Font folder did you search?
Adobe (and other applications) often store things like fonts where you'd not expect them.
While many fonts are stored in Windows/Fonts, do a search for 'fonts' on your system to find other folders. For Adobe it might be Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts. Which is why when opening other applications it only sees the Window/Font's directory

| Thanks for your response. Yes, I checked all my Adobe font folders as well as the Windows fonts folder... and it's just nowhere. I just searched the installation CD...and no fonts were found. All very strange.

| Linda,
Apart from Myriad Pro, you should have Myriad Roman, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic. Do you have the other Myriads or none of them?
