| Hi everyone. A while back I tried to install Illustrator CS on my computer, but it never actually installed properly; something happened with my computer I suppose, and it never completed the installation. Although it was not completely installed, it stil
l shows up in the program list in the "Add or Remove Programs" window, and it is still taking up space like a regular program. Now I have Illustrator CS2, and it installed properly, so I would like to remove the buggy Illustrator CS from my computer, but
every time I try (through the "Add or Remove Programs"), it gives me an error. These are the details of the error:
Error Code: -5005 : 0x8007000d
Error Information:
Kernel\KernelMedia.cpp (94) SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (1597) pAPP:
PVENDOR:
PGUID:
$7.1.100.1248
@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 344.0
I am running on an Alienware with Windows XP SP2, with plenty of RAM. I know this doesn't work because it never installed properly, but is there a way I can remove it (I do not think just deleting the folders will work)? Any help would be greatly apprecia
ted. Thank you.
