Illustrator to PDF: 8x11 becomes 117X118! Help

| When I save a PDF from Illustrator CS which is originally an 8.5 by 11 inch document it opens in Acrobat as a 116 by 107 inch document. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make this stop or how to make it save as a letter sized document. Please
help.

If there's additional stuff on your art board somewhere, it will be included in the pdf. Try (with nothing selected) Object>Crop Area>Make, this should set crop marks at page size, then save and the pdf should look normal. Another way would be to draw a r
ectangle exactly to page size and with that still selected, do the crop thing.
