Whole series of my photos in the photo well are fading, big time. I have fixed some of the photos and deleted some, prior to the fading. I do not know how else to explain it. I have been told that files do not fade but these photos are. Is is possible to
stop this and recover the quality of the photos. Not too knowledgable with PS. Version 1.01 Thanks

What do you mean by "fading"? Image files don't change over time [like prints do]. How did you "fix" some of them?

These photos are loosing color, fading white. You have to see it to believe it. I had one fade into nothing. 30 or 40 are fading now. "Fix"--changed lighting and one or two, deleted a couple, etc.

So you are saying that you have not accessed these files in any way and they are changing over time?

I can think of only one possible scenario, which is some problem with th ecolour management system on your computer. Do these photos look faded when you access them with non-Adobe software?

If I select a photo and go to share, I get the message searching for missing photos and sends me to reconnect missing files page, will not create slideshow from fading photos in a tag, other photos in other tags are not fading. I have manipulated photos in
these tags such as deleting, fixing, and accepting the fixes. Every tag with photos have all the photos fading where I have done something, deleting, fixing, etc. Even if I try to fix one of the fading photos, I get the missing file message on any of the
photos. What is going on here??? Unable to access any of the files in the fading tags, get missing file message, other tags have good color.

Hi George,

Seems like you have moved/renamed or deleted your photos on the disk and Photoshop Album is not aware of these changes. If you have moved or renamed files then in the reconnect missing files windows, click on browse and specify the new location. That way
Photoshop Album would be able to access these files on disk and you would be able to proceed to sharing, slideshow etc.

If Photoshop Album is not able to reconnect any file then you will see a small red broken icon on the thumbnail, that represents missing file.

Let us know if this helps
