I am using photo shop 4 along with quark software. I am developing a school yearbook. Last year my file was over 1g and the printer said it was too big. He said that the digiatl photos themselves were too large. I am still new at all this computer stuff a
nd I am learning as I go.I have read all the books on photo shop and I just can't seem to get this. If my one photo file is 1.67 mb with dimensions of 2592 x 1944, how can i get it too half of that? All the photos need to be converted to grayscale TIFF/MA
C. Since I use windows and the printer uses MAC. Is there someone that knows what I am talking about and can help me. My email is dottiepfister@msn.com Thank you in advance.

You have posted on the Photoshop Album forum and clearly that is not the software you're using. You say "photo shop 4" - do you mean Photoshop Elements 4 [in which case this is the forum to post to: <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bbb01bc/>

or full Photoshop 4, which is very, very old [and the forum is here: <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.ee6b366/]>.

What you want to do is easy enough, but to help we need to know what you're using.
