Hi,

I want to move my 12000 PSA 2.0 pictures from an old to an new computer.
In the old one they are stored on a d-drive. My new computer does only have a c-drive. Have tried to make a back-up from the old computer and restore it to the new one, but the restore suddenly stops.

Support pls

Thege

PSA 2 will only restore to the same location from which it was backed up. This was changed later in PSE 3 and 4.

The best you can do really is to edit the My Catalog.PSA file with MS Access, if you have that available. Or find someone else [feel free to ask me] to do it for you. It is a very simple job just changing "C:" to "D:".

Hi,

would very much appreciate some more support from you. Have some 12000 pics with all kind of tags and text.
I made a search on my catalog and got the following results:

in the program files\adobe.......\shared assets\database\odbc I found
my catalog-pju.psa size 344 kb
my catalog.psa 300 kb

In a backup file I found

my catalog.psb size some 30 000 kb

Have MS Access and I opened the my catalog.psa file but there were no data in it. Then I opened my catalog.psb file with all the path names.

What to do? Totally lost.

cheers/Thege

Look for My Catalog.PSA in Docs&Settings on your old computer. It will probably be in a hidden folder, so make them visible.
