Yes I saw the same behavior with Elements 2.0 as well. Please log a bug at <http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform...m?name=wishform>

I've managed to solve it by renaming the "...PhotoshopElements.exe" file. (I changed an "o" to a "0" (zero) in the name). I then went through Edit, Preferences, Choose Application, Browse "C:\Program Files\Adobe\PhotoshopElements\Photosh0pElements.exe".
Works fine now, but don't ask me why!
