I am having broblems with my Quattro FX 1400 when using AE7 and Boris Continuum. I believe it's the card so I want to get a card that will work well with both products. Can anyone recommend a card that works?

My system has 3.5 gig ram, Nvidia Quattro FX1400, dual Xeon 3.4 cpu

I doubt it's the card. Graphics card malfunctions are usually total disasters and can dramatically impact the operation of the entire computing machine. Problems with cards manifest as severely weird display and image corruption issues which you do not de
scribe.

You can review the specs for AE and visit Boris to get some basic criteria but neither benefit much from GPU performance when it comes to rendering. Next generation of software, maybe. You gain tremendously from GPU capabilities for OpenGL for AE previews
, though.
