.wav import error (53::33)
|
|
|
| I'm working on After Effects 6.5 and I am having trouble importing a
wav file. Here is the error I'm getting:
After Effects error: an unspecified AVI or DirectShow error occured.
The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation
context. (1) (53:33)
Has anyone ever gotten that error message? Does anyone know the
solution? Here are my computer's specs:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
2.99 GHz, 2.5GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension
Thanks in advance for any help.

| I think I've found the solution. I imported the wav with only 16 bits
instead of 24. I'm not sure why it worked but it did.

| Sorry about the earlier messages errors. I have had a similar problem
getting sound files to play on my timeline. I can import the sound
files, but they don't play. Why? Help please. Thanks in advance.
