Author PAL vs NTSC in AE7

Hi! I'm a complete newbie to AE haaving upgraded from Premiere Pro to Production Suite. Please be patient.

Uncharacteristically I'm reading the AE manual before doing anything. I've noted the importance of setting a project up correctly before working on it. When I check project settings it is set for NTSC 30fps. I want to work in PAL at 25pfs.

Have I installed it wrongly or is this something that is fixed if I export the AE bit back into Premiere? OR am I just stupid?

Thanks for your help

You define the parameters of your project each time you create a new composition. Choose the appropriate PAL preset when the New Composition dialog opens.

Andrew,

Thanks for this. Will try it if I ever get that far.
