AE7 no longer exports Flash

| Hey all:
For some reason, whenever I try to export an flv from After Effects 7, it just hangs.
My typical procedure is to choose "custom" in the export window, then choose On2 and choose the various settings. This has been working fine all year, but now when I press the "ok" button, AE just hangs and I have to force a crash.
I am suspicious of QT 7, which I installed recently. I noticed that the Flash export in QT has a few more tabs than AE, so I'm wondering if it changed something on the system level that is causing AE to choke.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

| Just as a follow up, I spent this morning try to fix this problem but was unsuccessful. My efforts included:
Uninstall/Reinstall AE 7
Restore system to previous date
Uninstall Quicktime (this removes all the the .flv export options in AE)
Reinstall Quicktime 6 (this restores one of the .flv export options)
Uninstall QT 6 and Install QT 7 (this restores both .flv export options)
And still no luck.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

| Well, after considering this problem for another day, I attempted to reinstall the Flash Video Encoder, hoping that it would replace the Flash video codec which was installed by Quicktime. When I attempt to "repair" my Flash Video Encoder using the Studio
8 CD, the installer asks for "Disc 1", which is the disc that it is being installed from. This is getting pretty ridiculous - as a major player in desktop video production, AE should have its own native flv exporter that won't be modified by the installa
tion of other software.
If Adobe staff is monitoring this board, any help would be appreciated.
