Can you be more specific? What kind of subject matter? What's apparition?

Don't know how long a clip you need, but my first impulse would be to get some archival footage, it's not expensive, in fact some of it is free. That way you can get what you want.

If you are just messing around with this for your own fun and not a commercial project, you can find a bunch of old footage at pretty much any library.
