Exporting Questions

| I'm currently working on a 90min. video in Premiere 6.5 and a 6min. spiced
up intro in After Effects 6.0 which will have to be brought together to
complete the overall video.
Was wondering if I should export my 90 min video in Premiere and
import it into AE to add it after my intro I've created in AE which
will then be exported and then imported into a DVD authoring program
or
should I go the other route and export my 6 min intro in AE and import
it into Premiere to add it before my video I've created in Premiere
which will then be exported and then imported into a DVD authoring
program?
Also,
What format does the intro need to be when exporting from AE and
brought into Premiere?
What format does the video need to be when exporting from Premiere and
brought into AE?
Should there be compression settings when exporting?
When exporting from After Effects. I see the options AVI., DV Stream., and MPEG-4., and a few others. So should I export it as a AVI. file? If so, the AVI video settings have DV/DVCPRO-NTSE , None and a few others. What should it be set to and should it b
e set to best quality?
Also, what would these other export options (AVI., DV Stream., and MPEG-4.) be used for as well as the video settings?
Sorry to blast ya with all these redundant questions. I'm just finding
it hard to find the answers to my questions. There are so many export
options and different format choices to choose from. I'm just not sure
what I'm supposed to do after I'm finished with the video and want to
bring it into a DVD authoring program to burn a master DVD to give to
a DVD duplication studio.
Hopefully I can get a few answers from some folks to see what's the best route to go.
Thanks very much..

| I haven't used premiere for years, but the way I understand they integrate is to export clips from Premiere into AE, do your effects, and then export them back into Premiere.
If you break it into a new timline, you should be able to export that project and import the 6 min intro project into AE. I thought I also read that you could ctrl-c, ctrl-v back and forth between AE and premiere, but I've never tried that.
You should be safe by exporting QT:Animation Codec movies for transferring back and forth.
what authoring program are you using?
