ok, i know that i am asking quite a few questions, but please bear with me. i have rotoscoped an old twilight zone peice of footage (rod serling).
now since rod is in black and white, i want to take another peice of footage that i have in my composition, and use it to add hue to rod, which will make it pretty close to skin color. i have succesfully done this with my blending modes, problem however,
is that i have to use the footage that i want to take the hue from, as my background, which is what i dont want. i want to use one solid background, and just hue out rod with my footage, but not apply it to my background. i know i have seen this before in
my effects pallette, i just dont remember where.
anybody?
thanks.
