hi could anyone tell me how to reverse my footage, i actually want to play the clip backwards i cant seem to find the reverse option like in premiere 1.5

You can reverse it 2 types of ways.

Layer/time stretch/-100% scale or you can ctrl-alt-r
Layer/time remap (ctrl-alt-t)

* With time remap, go to the frame before the last keyframe, and create a keyframe there (hit the checkbox).
* Delete the last keyframe (which AE created).
* Flip the two keyframes

I never use time stretch, always use time remapping - much more powerful.. You can set ease in/out as well as hold keyframes.

thanks alot i will try that, it just seems that things are harder to do and work out in ae as opposed to premiere.
however i will try your suggestions thanks again.

It's really not that hard, once you learn how.. Time remapping is AWESOME! All of my lipsyncing is done via time remapping a precomp of my mouths with held keyframes. So I just type in 1 for a mouth, 2 for b, etc. Works out VERY WELL.
