I am on the Windows OS. I created an animation using Flash MX 2004 and published as a .mov file (Quicktime). I import the .mov file into After Affects' Project Window I double click the icon and I get a preview window. The video and audio will play in the
preview window. When I drag and drop the mov file into the timeline the audio is gone.

Please advise. I am on a tight deadline.

THANKS!

you have audio enabled in the time controls box, yes? What happens if you hit ll (2 l's fast) on the audio layer, do you see the waveform? If you hit . on keypad, do you hear it?

If the answer is no to all those questions, I've heard the solution for this is to uninstall/reinstall quicktime.
