| hi folks. i have a verry annoying problem, and was hoping that somebody can help me on this one, since i cant figure it out.
it seems that if i try to import a svcd or vob file, i get an error saying.....avi or directshow error. however i can import a vcd file into after effects. now a while back ago (before i reformated my hard drive, i had no problems importing svcd and vob f
iles into a.e, but now i cant).
why is this, and how is this fixed? i am using pro 6.5.
anything will help.
thanks.

| has anyone else successfully done this? I don't see it under import and didn't think it was possible. I'd convert it to .avi

| David, with .VOB files I have found that all you need to do is change the
file extension to .AVI and it plays (and imports)
