| I have unistalled and unistalled Photodraw many times and
each time I am missing the menu bar and tool bar. I went
to help and it said to push F10 to make these bars visible
but nothing happens. I am running WN XP home ed. This has
never happened before and I can't seem to restore the menu
and tool bars. Any ideas what to do????

| Is it possible you have the Menu Bar undocked somewhere on your screen?
Pressing F10 will moving focus between the different components, the File
Menu being one of them. You can try F10, followed by Shift-F10 to see what
context menu is popped up. If it's not the Toolbar one, redo the sequence
(F10 followed by Shift-F10) until you get it, or you start repeating menus.
If you start repeating menus then something is missing.

I had the same problem on Windows 2000. I have many times Photodraw installed and uninstalled, but nothing helps. Critical for the succesfully install was the user. It must be the same user by which you have installed Photodraw any times ago. This original user must have administrator privileges.
Make the following steps all with the original user:
1. Execute "regsvr32 /u %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll" to uninstall the compatibility mode, if you had installed it before, to have a clear basis.
2. Uninstall Photodraw.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Photodraw.
5. Execute "regsvr32 %systemroot%/apppatch/slayerui.dll" to install the compatibility mode.
6. Click with the right mouse button on "Microsoft PhotoDraw" under "Start" - "Programs". On the "Compatibility" tab activate the compatibility mode (click the checkbox) and select "Windows 95" or "Windows 98" section.
7. Restart your computer.
8. Open Photodraw. You see, it works and all bars are available.
