We've had the same problem. Not only that, the only
options we're given are for ART or bitmap. Even if we
save the picture as one of those extensions it still
won't open.

Someone help!

Try running MSICUU2.EXE (Microsoft Installer Clean Up Utility 2) and then
reinstalling PD. You can download MSICUU2.EXE from Microsoft.
