Photodraw and Windows 2000

| Hello,
I can't get Photodraw to start under Win2k. I get the classical "Photodraw
has generated errors and will be closed".
Yet, I know how to run it in "compatibility mode" and even so it won't
start.
Is there anything else I can try? It's Photodraw 1 (I suppose - included in
office2k premium) and w2k sp3.
TIA,

| PhotoDraw 1 is not usually compatible with Win2K. You have the usual
Hobson's choices: (1) trash win2k or (2) trash PD1 and maybe locate a
copy of PD2. PD2 works fine on win2K.

| You have two equally unattractive choices: (1) trash win2K or (2) trash PD1
and get PD2 or another program such as Real-Draw Pro 3
(www.mediachance.com).
PD2 works fine on Win2K. Copies are occasionally available on eBay for
around $120 or so for the three-CD standalone version.

| Thanks for this neat and concise reply!
Yet, I think I can remember that PD1 once worked under w2k.
Possibly the problem is with the service pack 3...
I'll try to locate a copy of PD2.
