Author Upgraded to WinXP and Office XP - now Photodraw doesn't work

For any other folks who are having the same problem, I
spent more than an hour yesterday on the phone with a MS
tech support guy to no avail. I knew I was in trouble
when he didn't even know what Photodraw was when I told
him my problem. He also acknowledged that there was very
little in the KB on it either and most fixes we tried
were in the Knowlegebase for some other app and using
that app with a JPG. I uninstalled and reinstalled
Photodraw 4 times before we were done....

Eventually, I had to end our call in order to eat dinner
with my family.

Doesn't anyone know how to fix Photodraw so it works on
Win XP with Office XP installed too???

Try Compatibility Mode. It may work.

Thanks Walter, but I tried that and still no jpeg open or
save. The program works fine, but won't allow me to open
a simple jpeg fire.

I think I've tracked down the problem as being due to
Office XP, and not WinXP. I installed only Photodraw on
another one of my WinXP systems which doesn't have any
office on it and Photodraw works perfectly.

It seems that my only choice is to uninstall Office XP
and return it and go back to using Office 2000 even on my
WinXP systems.

Thanks again!

Unfortunately, I have PD1, which came as part of my
Office 2000 Premium Disk set. If I could afford to buy
PD2, I'd be getting something else. I guess I can return
Office XP and then buy PD2, but that wouldn't make sense
either... ;-)
Thanks anyway.
