I can verify that removing KB824141 fixed the
incompatibility with Windows XP Professional and Office XP
Professional. MS tried to scare me that removing it could
have drastic repercussions, but they lied again.
Everything including Norton Internet Security works just
fine inspite of their warnings. I didn't have Picture It
installed so I can't vouch for that.
